The Trinidad and Tobago Target Archery Federation will be hosting the 2012 National Outdoor Tournament this weekend.
On Saturday, male archers will shoot distances from 90m, 70m. 50m and 30m while the female distances will be 70m, 60m, 50m and 30m. Archers are then ranked for the elimination round which will take place on Sunday. Among the 17 registered archers are George Vire and Rakesh Sookoo who are top 100 world-ranked archers. Vire will be defending his title as the Male Compound Archer.
For the Male Recurve Division, Dunbar Roopnarine will face-off against other tough opponents including Sanjeev Harrinarine, returning silver medallist from South Caribbean championships in Barbados.
