THE NEW generation of Trinidad and Tobago cricketers will be on show on Wednesday (May 10) when North play South in an Under-15 clash from 2 pm at the National Cricket Centre in Balmain, Couva.

The 50-over match will be the final chance for the promising young cricketers, who recently featured in the Shell Inter Zone U15 tournament, to address the selectors for a place on the national team.

According to Dudnath Ramkessoon, Cricket Operations Officer of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board, following the match, the final squad to participate in the regional age group tournament will be named.

The West Indies Cricket Board Under-15 competition will be staged from July 23 to August 4 in Barbados.

In the squads announced by the TTCB, Giovanni Gajadhar of the East Zone will captain the North side, while South Zone’s Tariq Mohammed will be at the helm of the South team.
