Another exciting day of events we had with our fine performances by our T&T cyclists, Quincy alexander taking the gold medal in the keirin final and Njisane Phillip 2nd place with Hersony Canelon of Venezuela 3rd place. Akil Campbell riding to victory in the curtain event, the Men’s Scratch Race, with a burst of speed in the last 200 metres of the 33 Lap event beating Daniel Holloway of USA with an impresive ride by young Kemp Orosco of Team TTO to take the 3rd place, Akil’s sister sister Tenille Campbell also events in the unknown distance, Elimination and 12 Lap event, but was unfortunate in the Keirin where she placed 5th.
