The East Zone Basketball Commission will host its first pre-tournament
meeting, Saturday 16th February, 5:30pm at Maloney Indoor Sport Arena.
East Zone basketball clubs, players and officials will meet with the newly
appointed Zonal Commission Executive Committee to go over plans for the
upcoming season – including zonal membership, financial standing,
competition divisions and tournament registration fees – among other
important topics.
Competition in the East is set to make a much anticipated return in March,
with the Zone working to feature tournaments in the Men’s First, Men’s
Second, Women’s Open, and Boys’ U17 Divisions, with consideration being
given to other Youth Divisions as well as a Masters’ Division for the 2019
season.
All teams whose registered address is within the listed boundaries – from St.
Joseph River in the West to Valencia Junction in the East bounded on the
North by the Caribbean Sea and South by the Caroni River – are welcomed to
attend.
